Palestinian Given Israeli Bomb Victim's Kidneys Thu Apr 4,10:10 AM ET

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A Palestinian woman received the kidneys of an Israeli victim of a suicide attack in a transplant operation Thursday.

The victim, Zeev Vidor, died of his wounds a week after the attack by a Palestinian suicide bomber at a hotel in the seaside resort of Netanya as Israelis sat down for a traditional feast at the start of the Jewish Passover holiday.

His family allowed his organs to be donated and recipients included Aisha Abu Said, 54, who lives in the Jerusalem suburb of Shuafat. The operation was performed in the Beilinson Hospital in the town of Petah Tikvah.

Abu Said's son Khader, a truck driver, said he had not been aware that the organ donor was a victim of a suicide bombing.

"Only today did I learn that my mother benefited from the victim of the Netanya attack. The family deserves better. I hope they think my thanks are sincere," Khader said.

Palestinian militants have killed scores of Israelis in suicide bombings as part of a more than 18-month-old uprising against Israeli occupation. Israel has occupied major West Bank towns in an offensive it says is intended to end the attacks.

One culture will send their children to kill other children while another culture will give life.

Hmm. I wonder if the surgeon was Jewish... Kidney transplant, huh? Another example of brutal zionist occupation.

Exactly!! You have hit the nail on the head. This is a conflict between two different cultures - one is a Judeo-Christian culture that values life and freedom. The other is a radical Moslem culture that values death and destruction and abhors democracy and freedom. The US will confront that culture clash again, unfortunately. At least Israel is in the front lines right now.

This shows there are (some) good people on both sides of this conflict.

Another good point. There are good people on both sides. Now if only the moderate Palestinians had a way to get some power there might be peace.

The "good" Jewish person is dead.

Yes. Your comment reminds me a picture I saw a few months back when Palistinian children were cheering when Israeli tanks rolled through one town.

Not all Palestinians are blood-thristy Jew-haters. Unfortunately, for both Jews and Palestinians, too many of them are.

BTTTT And nice Israel flag. More American Jews need to love Israel and Jerusalem. As far as I'm concerned the Jewish Temple is the spiritual center of this planet. Christians are there. The Via Dolorosa is right next to this Temple! You figure it out...... I'm trying to.

Dennis..from my perspective all of ancient Israel belongs to the the Jewish people. If they choose to share it with other faiths that would be a kindness. But it is their National choice

This story reminds me of a pro-Pallie propoganda website shown me by a muslim grad school colleague of mine. The site depicts various gruesome photos, including what it claims are the bodies of palestinians from which the organs have been removed. The site is obviously one-sided, as Israeli bomb victims are ignored. Also, some of it is pure BS. They claim for instance that the well-known photo of the suicide-bomber's head actually shows a head "removed by the Israelis" Other photos are likely real, however, like those of children, and show genuine suffering by Palestinians. (though this does not IMHO justify bombing cafes and hotels!)

WARNING! EXTREMELY GRAPHIC -- A LITERAL BARF ALERT
Alleged Israeli atrocities
I mean that alert, this is the grossest stuff I've ever seen.
