Dr Robert Schoch's website

I have talked to oil field geologists about the debate and the evidence. Schoch's evidence is strong and factual, however the Egyptogists stated only their theory of events. One geologist told me, that after Schoch's paper, he revisited his photos and memory and was amazed that he just overlooked the evidence of his eyes and training simply because everyone knows how old the Sphinx is supposed to be.

Well, Peace, you suckered me for awhile into believing it was a science thread, not just another rant. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

I never know ahead of time what direction a thread will take.

I have seen the same thread, posted at different times, with different respondents have totally opposed directions. You can't predict it, and it would be boring if you could, wouldn't it?

I've always suspected the Shadow People of building the Sphinx.

Nah. It was the Goa'uld. The Asguard built the Mayan temples/landing pads...:-)

OTOH ...if they only worked in the morning and evenings, when they were taller(stronger perhaps too), the Shadow People angle has merit...;-)

There is less than a 1% DNA divergence between all species, that implies that either they all came from some past common ancestor, or that they all had the same creator. For years the Ameoba has been passed off as a simple single celled animal, but upon closer examination it is far from simple when all of the mechanisms within that single cell are considered, and it's DNA is 200 times that of the human.

The other parts of the theory of Evolution that I find untenable are that we still have the previous critters(if they truely evolved, why did some get left behind) and where are the fossils of the critters that were in between one species and another. If it took 100's of thousands of years for the changes to occur, it isn't evolution, it's adaptation, that is supported heavily in the fossil record. But one species suddenly becoming another in a few generations is not.

Now it could be that is what most folks are calling evolution, but it fits the definition of adaptation, and not that of evolution.

There is only one Great Pyramid. The others do not approach that one in its perfection and design. And there is no indication that the Little Pyramid approached the Great One in its perfection either.

As far as I have seen the broken lintel occurred after construction perhaps due to earth quake. I never speculated on who built it or why.

While you wonder about the broken part I marvel that the King's Chamber a)never had a body in it; and b)was walled in marble. Paul Horn's flute recording from inside the Kings Chamber are really interesting.
