Too many American Jews put their leftist ideologies ahead of their religion. And for reasons that are difficult to understand, the Palestinians are poster boys for the left.

Similarly, the whole editorial board of the New York Times would rather see Israel pushed into the sea than ruled by a Conservative government.

Jews in this country are by and large Liberals, probably 85% of them if voting patterns are relevant or one looks at their brethern in Congress or the Senate. Sure, there are many exceptions - and you'll find some of them in the streets protesting or in edged organizations such as JPFO or GOA. One may even find a few in Republican organizations, like Ari Fleishcher. But, don't count on it.

But, by and large, the Jews in this country are Liberals - for all that entails. As Liberals, their focus is on turning America into a socialistic country, so although they may mouth obiesiance to Israel's future, their involvement is mostly oral, with maybe a fund-rasier or two thrown in when they start feeling especially guilty. Their real political energies are devoted to other pursuits.

As Liberals, their entire worldview is skewed. Why should they all of a sudden be expected to suddenly take approriate actions and stand up for what is right? That's not in their mindset.

You're right, and I'm proof of that. The majority of American "Jews" are liberals not Jews
