I think Beck was a loose cannon. I also believe the BATF and the LASD used very poor judgement. Any time 20% of 500 bullets find their way into the neighbor's home instead of the perps home, there's definately a problem. And the very idea that anyone would use a high millimeter weapon on a home in a residential neighborhood, is downright crazy. And that's what the LASD seemed poised to do as they loaded that weapon and were ready to lauch it's use.
