BTW, rather than saying her comments were "dangerous", as Zell Miller has said, I prefer the comments on Brit Hume's program tonight on FNC - that her comments were VILE!!!

Are they asking if she had the right to express her deeply held feelings? Would they have rather she kept them to herself and her constituents and not have been made so public?

Actually there is no conflict between her having the right to express her opinions, and those opinions being evidence that she's short a few tacos short of a combo plate. Nor does it conflict with a Congresswoman making such remarks being "dangerous". She has, she is and they are.
