He's on his way to GITMO! He's going to break bread in a cage with Islamic animals, and all so near his great friend Fidel!

LOL! I guess technically this isn't Cuba. The Venezuelans denied his request to be exiled to Cuba.
Can you just imagine what kind of dirt bag this Chavez is, to want to be exiled to Cuba?

You are just FULL a good stories these days!

Venezuela's Power Shift Condemned

I'm sure Fidel was up all night crying in his sheets. Ted Turner must have the damage control teams from Pravda/CNN on full alert.

Is Saddam going to be around long enough for it to matter?

But Carmona's appointment was challenged by Venezuela's attorney general as unconstitutional, and several Latin American nations condemned Chavez's ouster Friday.

Should an effort be made to restore Chavez to office, it may become necessary to 'suspend' him from office. A nice 14 foot rope with a noose at the end would seem appropriate as a means of suspending him from his office.

He is a dirtbag, and he caused a lot of suffering in Venezuela, but I can't help thinking that the unintended consequence of his attempted leftwing transformation of the country was to forge a huge coalition of Venezuelans across a wide spectrum of society, bringing people together to fight for freedom, free enterprise and --- you could say --- the American way. There is great strength and good sense in the Venezuelans who stood up to this thug commie, and maybe it took the thug-commie to bring out that strength and sense. Not to give the thug himself any credit --- because his goal was to enslave his people not empower them --- but I wonder if his brazen and baldfaced commie buildup (after the world has rejected commies everywhere but Cuba and NKorea! what an idiot!) was the catalyst the people needed to find that strength within themselves.

What they need to do now is codify that new found strength and write themselves a Second Amendment!

My mistake. I forgot Berkeley and Hitlery's house.

Reconstruir, ganar. No hay otra vía

Laudable Senitments from a Venezuelan Newspaper Editorial

TRANSLATION (by no means perfect): Today the country woke up with a new face. A renewed hope and faith in a better future is the best impulse with which to begin the reconstruction and to rise from the ruins towards a Venezuela which, certainly, will demonstrate to ourselves and the world that we are a wise and civilized people in victory.

Reconstruct and win. There is no other way.

Protests erupt against Venezuela's new government; new foreign minister seeks close US ties*** His daughter, Ana Gabriela Chavez, told Cuban television in a telephone interview that Chavez may have been taken to the Venezuelan island of La Orchila in the Caribbean and that he had been mistreated by his captors. ****
