Members of the '70's Swedish Band Abba say they won't get back together--not even for 1 Billion dollars.

An American-British consortium offered them that amount to reunite for 100 concerts, but they refused.

'It is a hell of a lot of money to say no to, but we decided it wasn't for us.' Benny Andersson tells the Swedish tabloid Aftenbladet.

ABBA disbanded 17 years ago, but their hit songs are curently experiencing an international revival.

Part of the credit goes to the teen group A-Teens, whose covers of 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and 'Mamma Mia' have risen up the charts.

And the musical 'Mamma Mia,' based on ABBA songs, has become a hit in London --sending sales of the album 'ABBA Gold' soaring.

Betcha prices will drop now, too. I just don't see how the promoters can make back an investment of a cool billion on a set of aging disco bunnies. ;)

So what's your opinion on 'The Great Debate'? At the end of the movie, are they just reunited dear friends, or on their way to San Francisco?

Actually, I know for a fact that Run DMC did a tour in the late 80's with no lip sync;at least 150 shows and 5 acts (all hip hop). Public Enemy also did at least of the U2 Zoo TV Outdoor Broadcast (probably at least 70 shows) and didn't lip sync.
