Don't know if this is the right spot for these few comments, but I'll leave that decision up to the forum God/Godesses. For those who enjoyed the coverage of the Kalamath Falls supplied by Jeff Head I'd like to recomend his newest work, " Dragon's Fury Volume 1". I offer the following letter I sent to Jeff, along with congratulations on this fine story. It is a must read ... It is a book that hopefully will awaken a few more sheeple to the treason that has befallen our Republic ....enough ! Read my review ... then go get the book ! "As sent to Jeff Head: "I finished Volume 1, today at lunch. Superb, Jeff ! The plot and the style you utilized worked well. I really enjoyed this book, and I'm poised to buy and read Volume 2 as soon as it is available. I'm going to share my secret by which I assessed the potential impact of this story with you. It is why I shall recommend this book to others. As a fellow grandfather, as a veteran, as an individual who has walked many paths in life successfully even though those paths more often than not were up hill ..... I have seen some of the worst of mankind in action, I have read accounts of incidents that angered me and disgusted me but ..... Prior to Sunday April 14th, 2002 I NEVER had to stop reading, put a book down, and walk away. Never ! Now, you may not see the compliment in that statement, but that's what it is, really ! Your story is so timely, the scenario is so aligned to today's world and the chaos running rampant that I was left breathless. The timeline leading to the attacks, the cast of villains that got us to our vulnerability, are all so well written that they mirror the real world around us. I couldn't help thinking, as I read of the carnage, just how easily the scenario you've painted could come to pass. The US hasn't known the woompin' you describe. Especially the direct attack on the US soil. The feelings I got as I read of the initial attack against Incirlik, the volume of missiles, the never ending supply of those willing to die for Allah, the Americans that fought until their last dying breath, the number of personnel in the naval groups that were slaughtered !... mind boggling ! Bottom line, Jeff .... it was too real! Thanks for writing a fine story. One that I feel would go a long way toward inspiring Americans. I believe you have written a book that citizens need to read."

I haven't read the book. You might want to locate the Allen Drury novels which followed Advise and Consent. The books follow the political developments in the US from the 1960s, when violence seemed to increase daily, to a point where one book ends with a candidate is assasinated. Which candidate in unclear, and the two Drury books which follow show what happens if it's A or B.

When I read them, back in the 1960s and early to middle 1970s, they were impossible to put down.

Reading one in school before class began, the guy sitting next to me had his jaw drop when I turned one page, and the next page had, in bold one inch letters ATOM WAR !!!.

Thanks! Those are mighty kind words and I hope I can live up to them in each of the ensuing novels in the series.

I intend to bend every effort to do that and write engrossing and enjoyable tales that contain pertinent and critical messages.

I read the book a month ago and will purchase book 2 the day it rolls off the press! It reads like a news story at first, as it relates to current events and as stated above it is a plausable scinero of world events to come. (Thanks Jeff for giving our enemies a road map!) A great read that is hard to put down. It's as good or better than any of the "mainstream" techno-thrillers out there including the likes of Clancy, Dale brown, etc. Lots of good technical info on arms, warfare, and good believable characters. New high tech weapons take a major toll on our military. It is going to be interesting to see how Jeff gets the US out of the disaster he left it in in the next book.

I give it five out of five techno-thiller explosions.

PLEASE try to buy the book from either Barnes and Noble,or Amazon.com. The reason I say this is that Jeff is trying to find a publisher who will "push" the books,and because publishers are MUCH more impressed by vendor sales than sales by the author. Your local Barnes and Noble can order it for you,which is probably the most helpful for Jeff because it gets a acutal human being in a actual store asking a live person about the book. If you don't have a Barnes and Noble book store near you,you can go to their or the Amazon wep page and order it there via e-mail.

Just took the time. I had a real conviction ... feeling ... urging ... whatever you want to call it to do this project come to me early last year.

I worked as I could on it until I got involved at Klamath and then I was spending the days and evenings at the headgates and was really pounding things into my laptop in ernest there between activities and reporting things to people.

Then, in September of last year, after the attacks, I went full time with it and have been so engaged ever since ... in between brief jobs to try and keep bread on the table.

I am committed to getting all five books out and telling the whole tale and interspersing what I feel are impotant messages into it as I do so.

Thanks for your support of those fine folks at Klamath. One day I will take all the notes and pictures I have of that and write a book about it ... but it won't be fiction.
