Can anyone help me with this?
Exactly why or rather who found that woman attractive?
Didn't anyone notice that she looks and apparently acts repulsive? Excatly what was she doing to have men pay her for... WHAT?
I may not be mainstream, but you would have to push me VERY hard before you could force me close to that creature.

If Harland Braun isn't any more impressive in court representing Blake than he was in a case a few years ago that I was on the jury for, Blake is toast. He had a lemon for a case then, and when it came time to do his summation, he launched into a lecture about the basics of the jury system, the premise of "innocent until proven guilty," etc. He didn't succeed at making lemonade, and we convicted his client.

Didn't anyone notice that she looks and apparently acts repulsive? You mean "looked" and "acted", don't you?
But then she may look pretty repulsive now too, come to think of it.

Sad, from all accounts this woman was way off the deep end. He could have divorced her, but she probably would have made his life hell by all forms of stalking, harassment, etc. Apparently he made a decision he thought was best. Just sad.
Remember Phil Hartman.

Okay, she's (was) in the past.
But, seriously, I heard that lots of men were paying her money so that they could be... intimate with her.
I mean, WAS this a joke or what?
To: ppaul
You can take that to the bank, Rooster!

What I never understood was why didn't he just pay her off, have her sign over the little girl and then this would never have happened.

I always thought Blake was innocent, I continue to think so

This looks rather amateurish at the moment. Where is the grand jury indictment? Why did the DA say he would examine the case on Monday - did the police arrest Blake without informing the DA's office? Had the DA's office veto'ed a prior arrest based on lack of evidence? Why arrest the bodyguard so publicly if not simply to put pressure on him (or publicly protect an "informant" who wasn't there)?
Blake probably did it or had someone do it for him. But so what? They still have to prove it in court and we've all seen how stupid lawyers, judges, and jurors can be (especially on camera).

What I want to know is if they gave him a year's headstart, why wasn't he in some country that wouldn't extradite him by now?

Exactly why or rather who found that woman attractive? The best I can do is to point out that in the many pictures published of her, she changes her look as often as a chameleon. So the "mug" shots that are published with stringy hair and no make up may not be the way she looked when she was dressed up to go out on the town.

Good question. I would think he's got enough money to head for the hills.

Perception/desire and reality for most people are opposites...reality is rare---obsolete!
To: ppaul
Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. Sorry just couldn't resist, surprised someone didn't post that earlier.
