It is all about money - big world money. The world's big businesses control the money, thus the politicians, thus you and me. These corporate leaders are not elected by the people, so they have become in effect royalty. Examples abound everywhere, but the uninterrupted tenure of people like Dan Rather, Peter Jennings and Bryant Gumble is clear evidence that the monarchs are solidly in control.

It is incredibly amazing how much people imulate the proverbial ostrich by "sticking their head in the ground and their rump in the air" so as to avoid unpleasant facts. They will remain there right up until the point where a preditor bites them in the rear. Look at the Democrats. Eight years of clinton/gore. Then they moved to the Gore/clinton mode. Next, it may be clinton/clinton. But look at the Republicans. You have to go all the way back to 1984 to find when a Bush or a Dole wasn't on their presidential ticket. The future plans are being moulded right before our eyes. A clinton/Dole card is again being prepared for the ostrich masses. Soon, the election may be a real bitch - hillary verses Liddy.

Those looking for another Reagan better pull their heads out of the ground and look at who is getting all the press time (name recognition) without which they can not possible be elected. There is a whole slate of royalty being groomed - Kennedys, Bushes and even one chelsea clinton getting more air time than any "commoner" like Ronald Reagan.
