You'll just never understand Libertarians, I'm afraid. See, we actually believe in individual freedom. So here we are defending home schooling -- not because we believe the nutty values some homophobic parent will teach their kids, but because we believe homophobic parents have the right to teach their kids their nutty values.
Socialist liberals don't believe you have that right. Socialist conservatives don't believe liberals have a right to teach tolerance to homosexuality, etc.
So Libertarians are the true individualists, while liberals and conservatives are socialists fighting over which brand of socialism to impose with the force of the state.
