Will America Be the Next France?

Will America be the next France—and become a radical Muslim country?

Or will it remain the home of the free and the brave?

That depends upon whether you agree with President Bush or Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-Colorado) on immigration.

Bush wants to open the floodgates and Tancredo wants real reform.

Bush wants amnesty for all illegal immigrants currently in the U.S.—to grant them citizenship. This will be the last time, he promises. We’ve heard this before. In the ‘80s, Congress passed identical illegal immigrant amnesty legislation. That was the last time they’d ever do it. They promised. But now is really the last, last time. Or so they claim, until the next time, which will be the last, last, last time. And so on.

To add insult to injury, Bush, with the aid of Arab-American Congressmen, like Hezbollah mega-fan Darrell Issa (a/k/a Jihad Darrell) (R-California) and Nick Joe Rahall (D-WV), have repeatedly passed legislation to make it easier for undesirables to immigrate to this country.

Why is Bush doing this? That’s easy. We are being shamelessly henpecked by Mexican President Vicente Fox and a host of pro-immigration radical Muslim groups operating within our borders. They know that the amnesty program doesn’t differentiate between Mexican illegals and those who pledge loyalty to Al-Quaida while planning homicide bombings and other terrorism.

Instead of thinking, “Gee, the Census reported at least 100,000 illegal Middle Eastern immigrants, all of whom are potential terrorists,” White House political director Ken Mehlman and senior Bush political advisor Karl Rove took Tancredo to the woodshed.

Rep. Tancredo, head of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, complained that Bush’s “open door” border could lead to more terrorism on our shores. “Then the blood of the people killed will be on this administration and this Congress.”

If we do not listen to Tancredo, President Bush will help make this country into a nation ruled by radical Islam—maybe even democratically elected, at first.

That’s France’s problem. With few controls on immigration, there are now between 5 and 10 million Muslim Arabs in that country of 60 million. The range in numbers of Muslims there is so vast because nobody knows for sure exactly how many there are. One thing is for sure: in the next 50 to 100 years—maybe sooner—France will become a Muslim nation. Demographics dictate it.

There is a reason Yasser Arafat’s wife, Suha, and daughter reside in safety and comfort in France. The country is dominated by Arab Muslim immigrants from North African countries--Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. Tunisia, by the way, was home to Arafat and his terrorists for much of his pre-Palestinian Authority exile.

Remember Zaccarias Moussaoui, now standing trial as the would-be 20th hijacker of 9-11? He’s a French national of Algerian descent. (Last summer, before 9-11, French intelligence warned the FBI that he received training in Al-Quaida camps. But while in France, he was untouched by those same authorities—just as his computer hard-drive was untouched by our authorities prior to 9-11, due to an over-abundance of Bush political correctness.)

Right now, Islam is the second largest religion in France. There would be nothing wrong with that, if it were a moderate form of Islam, such as Sufism. But the raging anti-Semitism and violent crime-wave of gangs that has accompanied the increase in Muslim immigration and birth in France is illustrative of radical Islam. Don’t like the wilding of New York’s Central Park thugs, or the gangs of South Central? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Come to France’s city of Roubaix, which The Atlantic’s Christopher Caldwell nicknames “The Harlem of France.” With over 40 percent immigrants, mostly Middle-Eastern, unemployment is 26 percent, crack and other drug use is high, and so is welfare dependence. The unions, controlled by “Maghrebians” (North Africans, ie., Arabs) only hire Maghrebians. Violence rules.

Aside from the massive Arab Muslim immigration, there is French reproduction. It’s no coincidence that France was one of the first countries to use RU-486. Its non-Muslim Arab population practices birth control like nobody’s business. They are not reproducing much. Contrast that with the high birthrate of Muslims in France, most of whom are religious and do not use birth control.

None of these factors is exclusive to France. They can, will, and already have been exported to the U.S. due to lax immigration restraints. That is why groups like the Dearborn, Michigan-based Arab American Political Action Committee—a group whose officials support homicide bombers--stressed relaxed immigration policy as a requirement for endorsing candidates at all levels. That included endorsed candidate George W. Bush, who fiercely competed with Al Gore for that endorsement.

It is also why groups like Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)—a Hamas front-group, according to former FBI Counterterrorism Chief Oliver “Buck” Revell—support weak immigration restraints. In 1993, CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told the Minneapolis Star Tribune, "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future."

Similarly, Islamic Society of North America President and Hamas supporter Muzammil Siddiqi, said, "Allah's rules have to be established in all lands, and all our efforts should lead to that direction." (Pakistan Link, "Issues and Questions," Oct. 18, 1996). He’s the one who delivered the Muslim prayer at the National Cathedral Service and then hung out with the President at the White House, just after 9-11.

President Bush is a little too comfortable with radical Islamists who support free immigration to the U.S. with subversive motives. Like he said, “You’re either on our side or the terrorists’ side.”

I know on which side Congressman Tancredo is. The question is, on whose side is President Bush?

The next France? I don't think so.

From an economic standpoint, I have big problems with Bush's policy, but Mexicans aren't Algerians and that does make a difference.

Why are you posting an article, which is full of lies and not refutin them ?

For the 8 zillionth time, around here, Reagan signed on to blanket amnesty for illeagals ; President Bush has NOT ! The4 so called " amnesty ", that this airhead author is talking about, was for a few thousand people ( 3, I think is the number ) , whodue to 9/11/01 had their applications for a greencard, lost, shreded. or held back / undone. When one is in the midst of this process, unless the paper work has been expidited, you become "illegal " ; but it is NOT what is being inferred here. Sheeeeeeeeeesh !

Oh, now it's President Bush's " PC " instructions, to the FBI, which held back the inept, Clinton trashed FBI ? REALLY ? Bovine excriment !

There may be a lot of Muslims, in France; but, the aren't" running " that country ; yet. More codswallop.

The USA has well over 200 million people, the Muslims comprise about 1.8 % . Far too many, under current circimstances ; however , there are more Jews here, more Catholics, here, more Protestants here, and yes, even more agnostics and atheisits ( sp ? ) here ... which makes this bubbleheaded author's flamable prose, even more over the top !

A junk posting, John.

If I had known Bush fought for and won the endorsement of this group over Al Gore I never would have voted for him.

It will be interesting to see how the Bush-bots will try to defend this.

an amnesty is still an amnesty, and the wordage used is so vague that it could apply to most illegals.

It's still an AMNESTY.

This author is right. It's about time that we NOT ALLOW any muslim immigration. That means none from any Arab/Muslim nations. Furthermore, it's time we kick all illegals out of our country. This includes Mexicans, Russians, Middleeasterners, Chinese, Columbians, Guatamalans, Irish, whoever.

It looks like France has quite a dilemma. They should start the roundup, or it's going to be too late, and why do I think that political correctness will not allow that to happen.

Yes, but our culture continues to be diluted until the point in the future that what was American becomes Mexican. The same thing happens.

It will be interesting. Apparently, nothing phases them. They act as though he's doing a great job. I respectfully disagree.

No, it is still NOT " amnesty . It took into consideration , a situation, beyond anyone's control, who would have been penalized ; not to mention the fact ( which you are too blinded by bias to see ) that these people were LEGAL and trying to get their greencards. You haven't read the text of this, IF you can claim that wording is " vague " ; or you need to take reading comprehension 101.

Will France do anything to solve their problem ? I don't know . They way things are now, it's doubtful.

She is quite attractive. A plus for men. She is a woman. A plus for women. Thus, you may be right. They do not deny the fact that these are shallow reasons for people liking her. However, she does seem to have here "head on her shoulders" and is very informed.

Think again.....

Islam in Latin America...

There are now as many as 7 million Muslims in the United States -- half of them American-born. In recent years, Americans of African, European, Southeast Asian, Latin American and American Indian descent have left their parents' spiritual paths to follow Islam, a religion that includes more than 1 billion believers from nearly every country.

At 10 p.m. on a recent Thursday, Wilson joined several dozen worshippers of different races and ethnic backgrounds at SALAM Mosque in North Sacramento for the last of the day's five prayers. Wilson, who teaches sixth grade in Elk Grove, observes his midday prayer between classes.

A one-time Marxist who still has posters of the late revolutionary Che Guevara, Wilson says Islam gives him a sense of peace and connectedness he never found in Catholicism, the religion of his parents. He and other made-in-America Muslims often combine the American values of democracy and gender equality with Islamic ideals, such as devotion to family, charity, modesty (women often cover their heads, arms and legs) and bans on alcohol, pork, smoking and premarital sex.

The growth of Islam in America has led to a growing acceptance of the hijab (the head cover worn by many Muslim women) and daily Muslim prayers during breaks at schools and workplaces.

Sacramento, home to the oldest mosque west of the Mississippi, at 411 V St., now has nine mosques, several Islamic schools and a Muslim cemetery. Community leaders estimate 35,000 Muslims live in the Sacramento area. Wilson, Loun and dozens of others interviewed say they were drawn to Islam because it places emphasis on prayer rather than on place of worship - no idols or icons are found in mosques, which tend to be relatively spare - and because it attracts a diverse group of followers across the economic and ethnic spectrum.

While many people associate Muslims with Arabs, most Muslims aren't Arabs, and millions of Arabs aren't Muslim. At a Muslim picnic in Sacramento's Haggin Oaks Park last summer, believers from 20 nations prayed and ate barbecue together...

Latino Muslims

In April, California State University, Sacramento, hosted a forum on the "Islamic Presence in Latin America" before and after Columbus.

One of the speakers, Salvadoran-born AbdulHadi Bazurto (President of Latin American Muslim Unity), said the more he examined his roots, the more he questioned the validity of Catholicism in his life.

"Since the day the Spanish arrived, we as people have suffered a lot," he said. "Christianity's 'white God' concept was harmful to our people, who were definitely not white."

Another speaker, Daniel Denton, a Stockton elementary school teacher who was born in Mexico, said he was a hard-drinking veteran of the Gulf War when he began to explore Islam in 1994. At the invitation of Muslims at Delta College, he went to a mosque.

"There was a carpet on the floor, and the walls were bare. I wondered, 'Where is everything?' and then I realized that was everything. If you go to a Catholic church, every few feet they have an image or a statue, but in Islam, there is no association between God and any image."

Denton also was impressed by the Islamic belief that each individual will be judged by their deeds on Judgment Day. That night, he took the shahada, the Muslim vow that says "There is only one God, Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger."

When he started fasting for Ramadan, "I heard my relatives in Stockton were calling my mom in San Diego and telling her I had become a terrorist and was doing drugs," Denton said. "When I went down to San Diego toward the end of Ramadan, I had lost 15 pounds and was starting to grow my beard. My mom was just in tears for days."

But, Denton said, his mother soon realized that instead of partying, he was staying home and talking to her as he had never done before.

"As she began to see the change, she came to accept it, and now she's happy. There's a saying in Islam that goes, 'Heaven lies at the feet of the mother. You have to treat her well at all times, take care of her.' "

Denton, 29, sees similarities between Islamic and Latino culture. "I've noticed that if you take away the crosses, the alcohol and the pork, the smells in my house are similar to Muslim homes. So is the behavior -- the respect for family."
