The end result of what happens to a "conservative" who tries to re-embrace Liberalism. Kind of reminds me of that scene in the Arnold Schwartznegger movie "The Running Man" where that prisoner wearing the internment collar runs outside of the designated area for prisoners.... and his head explodes. This is only my opinion but ... Brock was probably frustrated by an inability to break into other media outlets -- either as a writer or a commentator -- and he thought that throwing off the conservative label would get him in the good graces of the eastern media establishment. That almost never works out, in my experience because it's hard to trust somebody who throws principles away on a whim.

He may. A mental breakdown seems a little out of bounds to me. Kind of like cheering for someone who had just been in a car accident.. Could be wrong, but I like to refer to the 'rats as mean-spirited. Don't care to give them reason to call me the same. Afterall, he is a fellow human being in some sort of trouble. I wonder what people would be saying had he taken his life.
