I think that was in reference to Brock's allegation that Matt Drudge had an unrequited crush on Brock and took the liberty of perceiving a social outing together as a date, flowers included.

I'm not sure this is above the fold news when the Statue of Liberty is being threatened, but Drudge deserves his shots after the new Brock book..
