I don't know tons about his politics, but I think this is great (I know he threatened to run for Governor of Alabama). If more celebrities (sports or otherwise) would realize that PETA advocates terrorism instead of just finding homes for wayward dogs and cats, we would be a lot better off.

I've heard that a number of atheletes are Republicans. He was on some t.v. show several months ago promoting the Olympics; he's a really funny guy.
