Whoops. I guess it won't be me, then, since Florida to Michigan is kind of a drive (although with my FL CCW and recent reciprocities, I can go the whole way packin')!

Back on 3/22, I bought five tickets for a MCRGO raffle scheduled for June 1. I don't even know what the prizes were; I just wanted to help you and your fellow stalwarts out.

Did you get the tickets in the mail?(you should be getting them back about now since another Freeper that bought at the same time just got his)

The prizes are an M1 Garand and M1 Carbine. Good luck. The winning tickets will be drawn on June 1st at the annual, and I'll be posting it here on either the 1st or 2nd.

Yup, I got 'em in the mail from a Melissa Mitchell. Even if I don't win, it's a win, if you know what I mean.

Keep up the great work, Dan!

Awwww man!

Just after I tricked out my 700 - could have saved some $$$$.

Custom bedding with variable vibration dampening, heavy varmit barrel, 28" barrel and muzzel brake, and mounted with a 10X50 scope with BDC and mil-dot reticles. From bench rest this rig will shoot .2" circles at 200 yards with no wind. It's a real tack driver.

The down side is that I no longer have any excuses for missing.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN the .308 and a MCRGO member to attend the annual.(you can now join online, and you should since it is a great group)

However, you do NOT have to be present to win the CMP M1 Garand or M1 carbine.

GO TO MCRGO for information. Tickets availible for both M1's or annual meeting.

Sorry to be off topic, but that's really an unusual surname.

I was waiting for that to be brought up. Apparently, it's a fairly common Dutch name, and West MI has a VERY high Dutch population.
