Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus added to MCRGO Annual Membership Dinner
Submitted on: May 23, 2002
The Annual Membership Dinner which is being held at Lansing Center in Lansing on Saturday, June 1st this year will have a second guest speaker: Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus will join NRA's Executive Director Wayne LaPierre in addressing the members who are coming from all over the state for this special night of food, entertainment, socializing and guns.
Additional prize firearms are being offered at this time as well, and one lucky member will go home with a Remington Model 700 .308 tactical rifle with a Leupold scope! This is in addition to many other prize guns which will be awarded, so come on out, meet your fellow members and legislators, and let us thank you all for a successful year. Doors open at 6pm and dinner begins at 7.
Tickets can still be purchased online via the MCRGO website home page at www.mcrgo.org
Tickets are $30 dollars and proceeds go to fighting for our rights. Dinner is provided.
I was at last years Annual Meeting. It was a great meeting, and this years should be better. I hope to see you all at the Lansing Center June 1st.
Back on 3/22, I bought five tickets for a MCRGO raffle scheduled for June 1. I don't even know what the prizes were; I just wanted to help you and your fellow stalwarts out.
The prizes are an M1 Garand and M1 Carbine. Good luck. The winning tickets will be drawn on June 1st at the annual, and I'll be posting it here on either the 1st or 2nd.
Keep up the great work, Dan!
Just after I tricked out my 700 - could have saved some $$$$.
Custom bedding with variable vibration dampening, heavy varmit barrel, 28" barrel and muzzel brake, and mounted with a 10X50 scope with BDC and mil-dot reticles. From bench rest this rig will shoot .2" circles at 200 yards with no wind. It's a real tack driver.
The down side is that I no longer have any excuses for missing.
However, you do NOT have to be present to win the CMP M1 Garand or M1 carbine.
GO TO MCRGO for information. Tickets availible for both M1's or annual meeting.
Sorry to be off topic, but that's really an unusual surname.
FRegards,
