A source close to the investigation said it appears that Miss Levy was lured into the park by her attacker because she was looking for directions into the park before she left her apartment.

This statement just about vindicates Guandeque. I think Condit invited her to the park for a clandestine meeting before she returned home and then he killed her. His refusal to answer questions, the disposal of the watch box, and the supposed multiple DNA found at his apartment are quite telling. I wonder if anyone has questioned his aide that drove him to VA to visit a trash can.

Thanks for the holdiay good wishes. May you have a safe and enjoyable one sir.

I think Condit chose the spot days earlier, based more on it's out-of-the-way location than the terrain. I don't think he realized or thought about how hard it would be to dig until after he came back with the shovel. He started digging. It wasn't easy. However, at this point, he realized he didn't have time to look somewhere else that would be an easier dig. Giving his plans to carry out the murder the following day or few days, he proceeded to dig- not as deeply as he would like, but enough to be able to cover the body. Hence the shallow grave.

Given her passion and eagerness to be with him, and he being the slimy politician that he is, I think he played off of this. He may have given her a romantic card or something, and told her not to open it until the next day at a specified time, because it was a suprise.

The card contained instructions to meet him immediately for a romantic interlude in the park near a landmark off the path. She had been on the computer to pass the time, waiting excitedly to open the card. After opening it and reading the instructions, she didn't want to be late, so she she made sure she knew exactly where to meet him. Hence the map on her computer.

Once she arrived, they took a walk towards the remote area- he was leading her to a "romantic spot." In casual conversation and under the pretense of an appeal to their "privacy" and "secret" he made sure she didn't tell anyone where they would be. She assured him she didn't.

Having it all planned out and verifying no one else knew she was there, he proceeded with the plan he had thought out. He then restrained her agressively, normally a prelude to the "kinky sex" that she was used to. Her being thus distracted, he grabbed a rock he had conveniently placed nearby and smashed her skull with it.

Having led her to her own grave, he simply dragged her the remaining few feet to it, and put her in. He quickly left the area, taking a premeditated route where he knew he wouldn't likely be seen, having accomplished his evil plan.

He leaves the White House at 12:55, she logs off her computer at 1 PM; nobody ever sees her again; his whereabouts are in doubt. He supposedly was in his office, and then went to a doctor, who, by an odd coincidence, he has never named. Wonder where Mrs. Condit was all afternoon.

Mark Geragos told Greta van Sustern last night that he was going to ask Condit today if he could release ALL the details of where he was that day, and if he said yes, he'd get back to her.

Don't hold dinner.
