These guys are the Keystone Cops without the humor. As was pointed out on another thread these guys had 1500 man/days to search 1700 acres. That is the equivalent of about one man searching one acre per day. A four year old child on his hands and knees could do that in an hour or two, let alone a day. And these "searchers" had trained dogs also.
Another interview of Condit......maybe this time they can ask him which leather store is his favorite, or what pattern is his choice in sex ties.
As to Condit, I'm still liking him for the crime. Killed her by mistake maybe in a fit of passion and dumped her over the small cliff in a panic, but I still think he's the one.
Heck, I'm surprised you weren't able to find the body just by using your keyboard and keen analytical abilities.
The folks searching the area were police cadets, for the most part, since the D.C. police do kind of have other responsibilities besides this one case. And I dare say these cadets tried their best to find her. You're also assuming 1) the body has been there the whole time, and 2) the body was sitting up on top of the ground for all to see. Lots of assumptions, unless you've got some inside knowledge.
