Thanks. That link answered my question about when Chandra was officially missing--

• May 1: Levy e-mails her parents about her travel plans but gives no specifics about time or mode of travel. The e-mail time is 10:45 a.m. ET. This is the last known contact with Levy.

• May 5: After three days of calling their daughter's answering machine without an answer, Susan and Robert Levy contact police in Washington and tell them their daughter is missing.

It was TWO MORE DAYS, before Condit contacted DCPD-- by that time Chandra was missing seven days, but maybe Condit thought his bases were covered, by using the official DCPD "missing" file date.

In her call to Condit on the previous Saturday, her FIRST call to him, she said in a live TV appearance that when she mentioned to him that Chandra was missing that his FIRST reaction was to say, "Well, I will donate $10,000 to help find her." She and Dr. Levy was TOTALLY shocked, if I remember correctly.
