Car Talk. . No matter how hard she tries, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee. (D-Texas) just can't seem to shake her car troubles.

Jackson Lee took a beating in the media a few months back for having a staffer wait outside her front door each morning in a government-financed car to shuttle her the whole two blocks from her apartment to the Rayburn Building. HOH. later reported that she had started slipping out the back door to have her chief of staff drive her to work, though her office insisted that the boss wasn't trying to evade scrutiny.

Then, during a House vote Wednesday night, an interesting scene played out on the east side of the Capitol. The Capitol Police cleared Rep. John Dingell's (D-Mich.) car. to go through the security barriers, which only let through one vehicle at a time.

But suddenly a Mercedes with dark windows sped up. and tried to sneak through the barriers on Dingell's tail. According to HOH's spy, police officers rushed over and ordered the car to stop, as the tinted windows slowly started rolling down. "Who should be in the passenger seat but Sheila Jackson Lee.," said the source.

The police did a close check of the vehicle, and then the Congresswoman was waved in.

Senate Majority Leader Thomas Daschle's. (D-S.D.) tongue got the better of him during a response to a question about trade during the Q&A portion of his National Press Club. speech Wednesday.

Daschle was apparently trying to stress his long support of "international discourse," but it didn't quite come out that way.

"I have been one who always believed that global markets and international intercourse is something very, very important to our country," he said.

Daschle added that all of this global intercourse will, appropriately enough, help America "build relationships" - of some kind - with other nations.

"What better example could there be than China, or perhaps Russia?" he asked. "So the more we can develop these relationships, the better off we are going to be."

And GW is supposed to be the idiot....right....

I had the occasion to do some work on some rental property smack in the middle of Queen Shelia's district yesterday. It is the third world. Has she no shame? Why has she not helped more? ...now, based on what we have heard so far about this woman, one can not help but to draw the conclusion that she is an absolute retard.
However, the the sad part of the story is that her constituents, who voted her to represent them in the House are by and large a bigger bunch of uninformed retarded morons.

Who in his right, sane, mind will vote for a such a person, (on a federal level I might add) with an IQ of equal or less than room temperature. To be honest with you, I would be ashamed even to mention that I am located in her district, even not have had voted for her.

One thing comes to mind...beware of the power of stupid people...but my biggest dissapointment is that she is from...don't mess with TEXAS!? ...very sad indeed......................
