I would of made such a stink if something like that happened to me. I would of marched into the prosecutor's office and told them I would not leave unless they did something. They would of had to press charges or had the police physically remove me from their office.
This case above sort of reminds me of the Kevin Shiflett murder in Alexandria. No mention of a possible hate crime here as well. Remember, poor little Kevin Shiftlett was attacked and murdered by a black guy with a knife. He was playing in his yard and without provacation this man stabbed him to death. Witnesses heard him yell racial slurs as he was stabbing Kevin. The media or police never questioned whether this was a hate crime or not.

Well, to be fair to the PG authorities, I did get a call from a detective a few days later saying they had made some arrests of people that they thought might have been involved in the attack on me, and asking whether I would be able to identify my attackers. Unfortunately, I had never gotten a good look at them, and had to say I could not.
