Praying, in the name of Christ.

Oh, Lord, we do not understand your higher ways. We can know in our mind that this little one is in a better place, but it does not take away the pain or the questions for these parents. They believe, but help their unbelief. They love you, but hold them in the Beloved. They are your people, but be their ever-present help in time of trouble.
We praise you that you have not given us a Savior who cannot relate to our pain. The very God of the universe knows and understands the loss of a Son. We pray that these parents and this family will resist the whispered words of the accuser of the brethren who would have them count their losses and bring turmoil. Instead we pray your Spirit would comfort, bring peace, and restore their joy.
In the name of Jesus, Amen.
"...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Ps. 30: 5b
