Beirut, June 9, IRNA -- On the eve of the visit by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to the United States, a Palestinian official vowed that the Palestine Islamic Resistance Movement would not stop suicide operations against Zionists until a final victory.

Hamas representative in Lebanon Osama Hamdan said all the Palestinians approve of the suicide operations which they consider as an effective way to try to recover their inalienable rights.

The suicide bombings play a deterrent role and prevent the Zionists from continuing their aggressive actions in the occupied lands since they would witness a tough reaction to their criminal acts.

He directed strong criticism against the policies of some who act within the framework of the policies of the United States and stressed that the Palestinians' struggles to liberate the occupied lands from the Israeli control would continue.

He stressed the inalienable rights of the Palestinians and said the struggle and resistance against the occupiers would continue so long as Palestinian territories are not liberated from the control of the Israeli Zionists.

He also condemned the Israeli attacks on the Muslims residential areas in Palestine and called on Muslims around the world to provide support for the anti-Israeli movement of Intifada.

He called on Muslims all over the world to mobilize resources to definitely suppress threats posed by the Zionist regime of Israel.

He stressed the importance of the support given to the Palestinians by the Muslim states as part of attempts to neutralize the Israeli anti-Palestinians actions.

He condemned also some Arab regimes for adoption of weak stances toward the Mideast issue.

Praising the Intifada fighters who courageously defended the holy Qods to date despite many hardships and problems he said the Intifada would also continue as the sole way of settling the Middle East crisis by restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinians.

He condemned the expansionist policies of the Zionist regime and the United States in the Mideast region.

By GREG MYRE, Associated Press Writer

JERUSALEM (AP) - In a trio of deadly episodes Saturday in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Palestinian gunmen killed a pregnant woman, her husband and an Israeli soldier at a mobile home settlement, while at least four armed Palestinians died.

The bloodshed came as Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon headed to Washington to tell President Bush that peace talks should not be restarted until the more than 20 months of violence ends.

a mobile home settlement

Hmmmmm, that does conjure up a rather smarmy image.

Maybe a Merkava up on blocks?
