I've think they've crossed enough lines on plenty of occassions. Two things keep me from running: 1) Most importantly, I doubt I could handle the pressure: worrying constantly if the decisions I made and the people I picked for offices were the right ones. 2) Nobody listens to me as it is. And on top of that, it'd be my fault because I was the guy charge.

If I could beat those two things, I'd be a complete bear for ONE term. (Cuz they wouldn't take me for another.) I wouldn't host any parties and rarely attend fund raisers. I'd go to schools and tell the kids to study hard, stay out of trouble, and don't let the teachers scare you. I'd tell special interests to keep their money and take a hike. I'd veto damn near everything that didn't repeal something. If I hadn't made enough enemies by then to be impeached, I probably didn't fulfill the duties of my office sufficiently.
