Holbrooke is a corrupt money grubbing war monger who'd kill thousands if it paid him a few coppers.

and now he works for Soros directly Perseus is a Private Equity group which seems to be directly tied to Soros........seems like Soros is paying Holbrooke off for all the insider deals Holbrooke sent Soros from the destruction of Yugoslavia and attempted destruction of Indonesia (East Timor oil fields are worth a lot)

The "accident" killing 3 friends? Add that to dead FOB's.

Traveling in a Humvee convoy down a mined and sniper-infested road to Sarajevo, Holbrooke lost three close colleagues when their armored Humvee which was following Holbrooke's plunged over an embankment. The "accident" killing 3 friends? Add that to dead FOB's.
The article is a distortion of the facts!!!
The three that "conveniently" died were riding in a French armored personnel carrier that was trying to stay with General Wesley KLArk's Humvee on the curvey moountain road. KLArk was showing Holbrooke what the Humvee could do. The poor French grunt apears to have gone off the road trying to stay with them.
Among the dead was one of, if not the main person talking to Milosevic. I believe his name was Robert Fraise.
among the survivors wer two "security" people, perhaps the only survivors.
I'll have to check Holbrooke's book for the details.

It was Bob Frasure, who really should have been given credit, if any were due, for the US policy in Bosnia. It is humorous that the author thought that Holbrooke had a "storied" career in the State Department. In the late 1970s during the Carter era "storied" diplomat Phillip Habib ripped Holbrooke a new one on at least two occasions. He was then out of the loop for 12 years. The fact is that Holbrook is a liberal poseur who has been protected by a small Democrat cabal aware that they had little talent capable of running the State Deparment. They were right, of course, as Christopher, Albright, and Susan Rice were perfect failures.

Hmmm.
To: Askel5
Why did he contribute? Soros laughs. "I wanted to give them enough rope to hang themselves." Then again, no one expected peace in the Balkans. "I've never seen a man so impervious to setbacks," Marton says. [...] "He's got such a remarkable record that he doesn't need any more notches on his belt." What a bunch of bozos.

So Holbrooke had a seminal event in Africa. I know what that means and I hope he used protection. Now if I just knew what a Reese's peanut butter cup was...
