Webbys more low-key this year

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Some of the Internet's best Web sites were honored Tuesday at the 6th Annual Webby Awards, a once festive event that has pared down its profile since the dot-com downturn took hold.

The search engine site Google.com took home the Best Practices Award, given to the nominee that received the highest overall marks from the Webby Awards' eclectic panel of judges.

No conservative site had a chance, never has ... seems to be a stacked deck against it.

You can watch the Webby Awards tomorrow night on TechTV. I suspect the reason no conservative sites have a chance is that the Webbys were created by two San Francisco lesbians.
