Agree with your sentiments wholeheartedly. Having the Cross there is a simple act of showing respect and memorialising those who passed away, regardless of their religion. Other religions and atheists who object to this simple memorial should get a life.

Thanks for your comments. Since I work directly across the street from WTC (1 Liberty Plaza) I feel I have a vested interest in how the memorial turns out.
