SHOW LOW - Two huge wildfires raging through northeastern Arizona have exploded to a total of nearly 300,000 acres, fire officials said Sunday morning, with the larger blaze expected to hit Show Low by Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.

Noting the shifting winds and the intensity of the inferno, operations section chief Buck Wickham cautioned, "That's a projection, and this fire has done nothing that we've projected yet."

I notice that, according to this site, the American Red Cross is "Providing assistance." It would be interesting if some AZ Freeper could head down to one of their shelters and see just what sort of assistance is being offered, and whether or not the ARC is playing any 9/11-style (or WWII-style) games with the fire victims, such as charging for food or demanding names, addresses and SSNs so they can "bill" these poor people later.

Why not drop a few daisy cutters at the leading edge? It will blast it back and it is going to destroy whats in its path anyhow.
