You know, It is hard to come up with the words to say without sounding like a total nutcase.
It starts to make it easier to understand the concept in the Bible where GOD decides that he must destroy the world's inhabitants.
Maybe we are getting due again.
Politicians being involved in sexclubs, linked to murders, but somehow never arrested or charged with anything at all. These are the people that are supposed to be shaping policy and law, and they are the worst criminals in the world. Worse than ORGANIZED CRIME. Or maybe it is smarter to recognize that ORGANIZED CRIME is just another name for GOVERNMENT.
Of course, we also have PRIESTS,MINISTERS, etc, being exposed for years of molesting children.
The other day an asteroid came by the EARTH, actually closer than the moon's orbit, and we didn't even see it coming. At least that is what we are told (didn't see it coming........?).
I don't like being fatalistic but sometimes I think we are due to be batted OUT OF THE PARK.

Ya think there is a possibility we weren't told because ... Some in the general population might think this would be a good time to "right a few wrongs" ??

This is just typical government operation. Living in extreme, ultra-liberal, Montgomery County, Maryland I see this kind oif thing all the time. County employees now earn about 25% MORE per year than their private sector counter parts. So much for "public service." The government is considered the supreme ruler and will do whatever it wants with my money...

Mullen's payraise from 1999 to 2000 is more than I made in the last two years combined.
But at least my hands are clean.

A source close to Condit told The Post last night that the salary hikes were not meant to be "hush money" - but rather to help loyal staffers who had been forced to hire their own lawyers to pay legal bills. Er ... beg pardon, *source* but I fail to see how a possible need to hire a lawyer should result in the taxpayer taking it in the shorts again. If these three "loyal" (cover-up artists) aides require legal assistance, they either hire someone they CAN AFFORD or they go to the local Legal Aid office and hire out the guy who scored 99/100 in law school like the rest of us. My boss is gonna jack up my salary because I've run into a little legal trouble? Sure.
And if this is to be the believed excuse, just why did that Mullen chick get the biggest hike? How was she in legal jeopardy, simply by being his secretary? Hmmm ... just what had she participated in that she needed legal advice to help extricate her, eh?? I hardly think an appearance on Larry King required speaking with a lawyer.

I was just indexing the thread and flagging some people. I think John Robinson deleted all the postings that were apparently coming from the wrong person because of the glitch in the system this morning.

I was just going through doing some cleaning up and into the trash can has gone my signs and pictures from FReeping the Dirtbag.
"Condit Country? - Not Anymore!"
"We Have Not Forgotten
Gary Condit's Rotten!"
"Fire the Liar! "
And the sign we used last summer with the paper shredder when we shredded our letters we got from Condit - "Shred Your Letter Here."
