And when she got to heaven she said, "Hey Mambo! Mambo Italiano!"
May God rest her soul.

I hope you can find some songs.  I could only find instrumentals.

f.christian posted a good link in #63.  On it there is interesting bio and a Gallery Page which divides into Rosemary Glamour Photos and Rosemary Candid Photos with thumbnails.  The bio and candid shots together tell of a life of much success mixed with a ton of tragedy and pain.  This picture apparently is just part of it.

I watched a movie recently on TV, and at the end they used Come Ona My House over the credits. I jacked up the volume...boy does that song rock! (Thanks to the fingers of Lou Busch!) Rosie was really one of a kind!

I hate to introduce politics, but . . . Rosie was a self-identified Kennedy Democrat and into the gun control thing.

I believe George Clooney's mother.

Actually Rosemary was his aunt.

What a shame. I didn't realize she had lung cancer.

I didn't know she had lung cancer either.

I saw Bennet 2 years ago. More 20 something there then you could shake a stick at. I was one of them! It's a Great Show!

That's the Rosemary I saw a couple of years ago at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival. She was awesome - I will never forget it.

She told a hilarious story about her young (eight year-old?) grandson, who had learned to play the piano a little bit. The family was dining out when the little guy approached the piano bar and told the pianist, "Hi. My grandmother is Rosemary Clooney and she wants to sing...and I'm going to play for her."

She wanted no such thing, of course, but she came up to sing. Her grandson played the part of the song that he knew, then went back to his seat, leaving her to finish the rest of the tune all alone.

I'm sure it was fantastic.

I sing for a living, and I just want to say: Rosemary, you are a singer's singer - and you will always be loved. Rest in peace.

I agree! It was so good, it made even watching Rob Lowe tolerable! Anyhow, Miguel Ferrer played Lloyd Henreid, the convict sprung out of prison to become Randall Flagg's sidekick.

"Hey there, you with the stars in your eyes."

My absolute favorite.
