Maybe I shouldn't be so mean to her. Oh, well, she's a big Clinton supporter. Yes, I should.
To: doug from upland
Someone needs to post the HIDEOUS amount of $$ she's given to the DNC, etal.
BTW, Doug, did you find what you were looking for????
To: Brad's Gramma
Didn't find the Seattle FReeper yet, but I still am going to contact the building owners.
To: doug from upland
Shall I keep bumping your thread? Maybe he/she was gone for the weekend.

FROM 1998
Marthas Clinton Living
CBS News not only isnt embarrassed that one of its stars hosted a fundraiser for President Clinton, it publicized the event. Do-it-yourself maven Martha Stewart may not cover politics, but she is a regular on CBSs This Morning. On the June 13 Saturday Morning, Mark Knoller showed a clip of Clinton at a fundraiser saying: "Let me first thank Martha Stewart for having us here." She credited the assembled Democrats: "Im so happy that you could show your generosity of spirit and pocketbook."
Knoller set the mood: "She whipped up a festive lunch, very much in the Martha Stewart style. Take a look at the program, tastefully bordered in red and white checkerboard. Not only did it present the luncheon menu of oven-cured tomatoes, peachwood-smoked salmon, and shortcakes with strawberries, you get the recipes for each dish, as well. Seems like a reasonable bonus for $5,000 a plate."

Maybe one more bump tomorrow. Thanks.

Sorry, I've forgotten to ping you for the last few songs.
More on Martha/Clinton --- During the last election cycle, Weinstein and her husband Harvey, co-founder of Miramax Films, donated more than $300,000 to Democratic committees that supported candidates like Clinton. In September 1999, the Hollywood couple also held a fundraiser for the First Lady in their home in Westport, Connecticut. With guests like Paul Newman and Martha Stewart, the event easily exceeded its goal of $100,000.

...Another curious item from the New York Post, written by Bill Hoffman, is that Martha Stewart is moving away from her long-time home of Westport, Connecticut to Bedford, New York where she has purchased a 153 acre estate for around $15 million. She is quoted as saying that she moved because residents had created an "unfriendly neighborhood atmosphere" for her. Can you imagine that? Martha Stewart not getting along with her neighbors?...

I won't be online tomorrow morning, but asked someone else to, and she's gonna. :-)
I'll bump the thread once more tonight.

Extra special one, as I just detest that woman! I was singing along but laughing so hard at the lyrics that I nearly choked! Love it!

Oh, now, Doug. We both live in ..... and you know we BOTH have that kind of money and friends and influence and it's soooooo tacky of you to make such a big deal of poor little Martha. Why, she COULD'VE been one of our neighbors!!!!

Good shot, Doug! If this liberal, lying, greedy, bitch, while trying to steal another $250,000, and winds-up losing $250,000,000, ever even gets
indicted, I hope that there's enough irony still left in your pen to write more verses!
I love the smell of self-immolating democRATS in the evening!
Welcoming two new Freepers tonight! Stay well armed and vigilant, Doug..."Martha watches as her empire's crumbling "! So cool.................FRegards
