Actually, it was probably "the kiss" that made Tipsy go bonkers.

Well I thank Tipper Gore for shouldering the burden for all of us. For if Algore had won, millions of us would have been driven to visit shrinks. Oh yeah, and I thank Kitty Dukakis too.

Tipper: Al's Defeat Drove Me to Shrink

Really? I thought she'd expanded since the election. I'll have to go back and look at the file photos again.

"It took me a while to work my way out of that," she explained. "I couldn't believe that the voting would be stopped."

So much for political acumen.

Considering his performance during the Campaign.. If you weren't, you should be.

Priceless that she couldn't believe the voting would stop. She thought the voting would go on and on until Al somehow won. These people really cannot come to grips with the constitution, democratic process, system of justice, or any of the other nasty little details that permitted someone other than Al to be elected. How about just sucking it up, like Nixon did in '60, and proving that you're worthy of the job?

Former second lady Tipper Gore was so shaken by her husband's failure to win the White House two years ago that she sought psychiatric counseling to reassure herself she wasn't mentally ill.

I could have saved her the $bucks$. Tipper, you ARE mentally ill!....for marrying Al at least!

Tipper Honey, it was your husband Al, who wanted to stop the voting by our overseas armed services folks. Yes, I too, was appalled, <sarcasm> as I'm sure you were. </sarcasm>

Having had family members who have been devastated by it, I don't joke about mental illness; but in my opinion the entire Democratic Party is mentally unstable...deranged in fact.

I can understand the feeling. If Al had won, I'd never have quit drinkin'.

Could this be the "escape hatch" for Gore, when he decides he won't run again?

Perhaps it was sitting at home with the family at dinner and hearing "GET OUT OF CHENEY'S HOUSE" echoing through the house that caused her the mental trouble.

Gore told the Appeal that she checked with her doctor to make sure she wasn't suffering a relapse of the mental illness

OK .. I just have one question ..

Does she really think she is helping her husband with a possible Presidential Bid in 2004

Admitting publicly that you are a Nut Case really isn't good PR

Actually, Tipper honey, it was illegally extended in some places like Missouri, in hopes of getting some of those last minute fraudulent votes for your tubby hubby in.
