On my side of the family, I've lost 3 loved ones to colon cancer, my husband has lost 2 family members to the same disease.
I'm personally thankful Bush has set an example of how a single test can save lives. While it's not the most pleasant topic to hear about over dinner, having a colonoscopy saves lives.
But I agree with you on two points, I've heard enough about our elected leaders sex lives and mental problems to last a lifetime.

I'm so sorry for your losses. I'm an RN and I do understand the importance of this test. My point was just that I don't need to hear the intricate details of a person's biology every time they go in for a procedure. However, you do make a good point in that President Bush set a good example for many who would not otherwise have this test done. I wish you the best of health always.
