Hope this isn't a hybrid of the "Urban assault Vehicle" in Stripes and the "Hovertank" in Sgt. Bilko.

Manned-Unmanned Synergy

First we target them with our mission statement, annoy them with our sales managers, offer to share vendor lists and schedule pre-meetings on right-sizing hostile force agendas against physical year budgets.

What's wrong with good 'ol:

Many(planes+bombs)= Stoneage

With a wimpy name like "Hummingbird", I just had to look it up.

Pretty cool I guess, unmanned helo.

While overall this is certainly a bright idea, there are a few indicators in the article of just how ad hoc it all still is. Like, ordering all of 16 UAVs. Like, it takes 22 men to operate one. Like, it takes 3 C-130s to deploy one UAV (!). Sending one is certainly safer and perhaps stealthier than sending a spotter helo, but from those anecdotal points it is not about to put even spotting helos out of business just yet. It doesn't take 3 planes to deploy one chopper, or 22 people to operate one. I would bet they will get there eventually. But they are not there yet, on the feasibility side.
