course it's not illegal to try to get pot legalized...but is the pot a legal or moral issue--or both?

Losing her job has ruined her life, Kemal said yesterday. "I've always wanted to fly," she said. "It took me years to get my job."
"Come on Bender....this is terrible...she loved that job man.....I mean, like, we just gotta do something to helppppp......"
"SHUT UP YOU WOOSIE....she is a big girl, and she is on her on.......now, stay on subject!!"

Get out your violin, looks like we need some liberal sob story music! The culture of the victim takes center stage--and as is often the case, the self-proclaimed victim is one of the worst victimizers!
(And to think, almost 70 people have joined another board to have a place to talk without being harassed by threadjackals! Ain't it funny there's never been a single flamewar over there? Not even one, not even close to one. So--who's the troublemaker, one wonders...)

I know online conservative folks that believe that. It's not my issue ... just making an observation.

I once took flight attendant classes. Back then (1980), it was taught that flight attendants must uphold strictly a professional image at all times. For example, female flight attendants should not be seen in bars or going to hotel rooms with strange men. Also, drug use was not acceptable. Other criteria at the time was: professional appearance, not being overweight, no body hair, being well-groomed, etc.
While Ms. Kemal did fit the latter criteria, her conduct with regards to smoking pot is unacceptable and therefore Southwest had a right to terminate her.

One thing is FOR SURE...DUH-KNEES is no BARBIE DOLL!!! :0)

"Because of him, it's just ruined everyone's lives," she said. Yep. It's always someone else's fault. Right Denise?

We were talking about the cast of characters being HIGH on pot and booze...THAT evening.
Please point out if you have heard testimony that David Westerfield was smoking a joint, or they found any illegal substances on his person or around his home?
He's a middle aged Conservative, Republican...Kim...The Van Dams are Liberal pukes...

BAD! ROFLOL

Difference:
He represents a group that wants it LEGALIZED ... She doesn't care if it's ILLEGAL or not.
One follows the law ... the other doesn't.
The common denominator of "pot" means nothing. His involvement in ANOTHER CASE has NOTHING to do with this one.

Thank you for your polite replies..
DW is on trial for not following the law--and illegal child porn alone is worse than admitting to smoking joints. However I am willing to drop the pot issue, because it appears that some of you are just focused on legalities and not moralities.
To: RnMomof7
Isn't there a psycological term for people who become defensive and must refute every suggestion made to them?
To: JudyB1938; spectre
Although the moral argument is brought up daily..... :)

LOL........now we read that this is why Damon was afraid to admit it. Someone might get in trouble. Those pesky consequences for illegal behavior. I'm one of those who rather have pot legalized, but nobody has been arrested or charged for use or possession (yet).
Denise Kemal violated a rule of her private employer. No sympathy from me.

So--who's the troublemaker, one wonders...)Hmmmmmm...let me think on this one. LOL !!!!
