Mr. Newdow has done us a great service in a backhanded kind of way.
He has brought the problems associated with liberal activist judges to the public's attention. Perhaps we'll get some decent, Constitution abiding, judges appointed now that the general public sees the effect of not doing so.
More disturbing, though, is the way they reversed themselves due to public opinion. It just shows how these bastions of integrity are easily swayed by the whims of the public. This subtle point will be lost on the general sheep though.
