If a white commits a crime by pulling a name out of a hat, he will pick a black person 1 out of 6 times. Bottom line is if blacks commit about 50% of all crimes in the US (which is actually correct) then by random chance, blacks will commit about 82% of all interracial crimes.

Blacks commit more crimes per capita than others, but it is not targeted against whites.

To further illustrate the point, lets look at the last of the mohicans which would be one guy. If the last of the mohicans commits a crime, it will be 100% chance of being interracial. If a white commits a crime, there is only a 1 in 300 million chance that it will be against a mohican.

To repeat, the problem is that blacks commit more crime but it is not targeted against whites.

There's a big fallacy in your reasoning. Since blacks largely live in heavily black neighborhoods and have much more contact with blacks than whites and others, their victims will be black far more than 14% of the time if they choose victims randomly.

Your analysis would then indicate that most black crime is committed against whites, which is incorrect. I’ve read as much as 90% of black crime is black on black. I assume that figure holds for violent crime as well.

I think the Justice Dept figure is referring only to that subset of overall violent crime, inter-racial. That said, there could be factors other that race acting as motivators. It’s unclear to me just what “inter-racial violence” involves. If it includes things like muggings or burglary, economic factors could play a big part.

Your argument assumes an equal distribution of population geographically which is not true, or a deliberate effort by criminals to travel far enough to find a random distribution of victims. I think it is not as straightforward as you are trying to make it.
