As some one who lived very near to the location of this crime I can tell you that it really made some blood boil around here.

While attending Air Force's Squadron Officers school we received some unarmed combatants techniques. The rule was simple, if someone points a gun at you do what they say and don't provoke them. If, however, you believe that they will kill you you should take action. First, step inside the guns arch by deflecting the hand and moving within hugging range. Next grab the gun hand with both your hands and wrest control of the gun away from the perp. This is accomplished by twisting the gun outward and away from your body. In all likelihood the trigger guard will rip the assailant's finger off but heck "That's Okay"! Once you control the gun, you must shot the perp DEAD! Use as many rounds as necessary. No arrests. No hands up! Just shoot until the cylinder or clip is empty!
