This state has changed,Jesse Helms could not
win reelection with today's NC demographics. A
RINO (Dole) is still more acceptable than Bowles.
Think about it. Name recognition is important.

Bull. Bush won this state well under two years ago by 13 points!

That means - in a 25%-black state - Bush must have won virtually the entire nonminority vote, female as well as male, urban as well as rural, poor as well as rich, young or old, married or single, gay or straight or lesbian. Bush won the most-urban counties in this state (Mecklenburg, Forsyth, Guilford). The only places Bush lost were a couple "college town" counties and a bunch of dirt-poor heavily-black ones.

And you want us to settle for some carpetbagging RINO imposed on us by Washington elites - a RINO who has flip-flopped on guns and abortion in the past two years? If she gets nominated, lots of social conservatives just either won't vote in the Senate race at all - or will vote for protest candidates. Because we won't support a GOP that doesn't support us. We can always get Erskine Bowles or Dan Blue out at the end of one term - but we could get stuck with Dole forever, and we won't risk that.

Liddy Dole's recent voter registration in North Carolina - is it illegal?

Jesse would win reelection. He wouldn't win in a walk, but he never has.

No, it's not. I will vote for Snyder in the primary and that's it. If he wins, I'll vote for him in the election, if not, I'll write in someone. I'm not having it on my conscience of electing a gun-grabbing, pro-abortion, pro-tariff Senator for this state. And that's Giddy!!
