Ed thanks for the good news. Was it voted down or just bottled up.
Forest, here again was my fearless prediction on this media dog and pony show to make this Communist look good in Portland:
This communist bill stands as much of a chance passing in the house as I do getting an endorsement from the Greens to run for president.
This is just an expensive Follywood stunt by this communist greenie to use for his reelection in Portland. He will proudly say that he tried to gut and kill all the farmers and ranchers in the Klamath Basin for the Greens of Portland.
This is a typical election year sham,/scam by the left wing maggots in the house with the aid and help of their left wing maggots in the media. This bill never had a chance of passing. The communist watermelon brought out this bill to keep the enviral terrorists and enviral supporter votes in Portland.

Great heartfelt post, Gramps, but I have one small request...
Quit slandering maggots; maggots at least consume already-dead flesh instead of gnawing on the living, like these Demonrat creatures!!
'Leeches' works for me, however....
Oh!..and bloodworms, lampreys, even no-see-ums...we must give the 'Rats credit for maintaining a diverse eco-system of predation, at least.;^)

Hey, I like leeches as long as they aren't on me.
Leeches are great food for trout and steelhead.
The famous Wooley Bugger Flies imitate leeches and are tremendous fishing flies.
Leeches are being brought back into modern medicine to treat wound infections.

I fully support the use of leeches as bait. ;^)

The lease threat by Big City Congressman Blumenauer failed. The article is posted here on FreeRepublic at <
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/719017/posts>. Many thanks to those of who helped. Congressman Walden stood up for the farmers. The article does not mention Congressman Herger from California.
