"Ring Dem Bells!!"
(To be sung to Bob Dylan's "Ring Them Bells")

Ring Dem bells, you heathens with yer Big Guv'ment schemes...
Ring Dem bells from yer sanctuaries where Vile Lib'rals preach!!
"Re-Impeach!!" Mudboy cried...
"We got Truth on our side...
"And Clinton's Power's fractured...Sweet Justice be thine!!"

Ring Dem bells, good FReepers, let yer OUTRAGE show!!
Ring Dem bells...make yer righteous stand, so John Ashcroft will know!!
Folks, it's Rush Hour now...
Help us FReep 'gainst the Power!!
Lord, the sun is goin' down upon Left's sacred cows!!

Ring Dem bells, Sweet Justice, tell yer Congressman...
Ring Dem bells so the World will know McAuliffe's SCUM!!
Folks, the Networks are asleep...
But their Power's weak...
And the Country's still filled with lost sheep.

Ring Dem bells...fer Left's Blind Ignorance!!
Ring Dem bells for those morally-bereft!
Ring Dem bells for Left's chosen few...
Who would judge the many...
Yet say, "Slick is KEWL!!"
Ring Dem bells for the Chi-Com SPIES...
For the kids that died...
When innocents FRIED!!

Ring Dem bells, brave Patriots, shan't let Tyranny bloom!!
Ring Dem bells for our Sailors whom Slick Willie entombed!! List of crimes is long...
But Bold FReepers are strong...
And we're breakin' down resistance to Rightin' Wrongs!!

Mudboy Slim

Folks, it's time we demonstrated the Power of FReepin' to those who would deprive us of Justice and Liberty!! Terry McAuliffe, outspoken proponent of Campaign Finance Reform and Chairman of the DNC, has committed multiple FELONIES to get to his position of prominence in the DemocRATic Party, yet no one seems willing to hold him accountable!! As Bill Clinton's Chief Fundraiser in the '96 Presidential elections, McAuliffe was the mastermind behind the Union/DemocRAT scheme to bilk hard-working blue-collar workers out of Millions of Dollars of Pension Funds so as to provide Bill Clinton with the cash to retain his position of Power, and no INDICTMENT has been forthcoming. Elle Bee tells me there is a 5-year Statute of Limitations--expiring this Fall--on this Crime, and George Bush's Attorney General, John Ashcroft, has not said one word about holding the DNC Chairman accountable for his crimes!! THIS INJUSTICE SHALL NOT STAND!!

A small contingent of Justice-loving FReepers have--for over a month--been promoting a series of threads exposing McAuliffe's long criminal history, but now it's time to take the Truth beyond FreeRepublic!! Please assist our efforts with your emails, phone calls, and snail mails to those who need to expose this lowlife SCUM for all the World to see!!

Thanks for your help in Ringin' the Bells of Justice!!

FReegards...MUD

Let the Demmies run with this, hold their hearings, yell out how they are so upset to the media. It is the summer, people do not care, they are not watching the news.

Bush and Cheney are doing the right thing, letting the Dems walk this path. Once they get past the point of no return (they are there), then come out and nail them for what they are. If I were the Repubs, I would continue to ignore this issue until September. The public is not buying what the Dems are shoveling.

These press jerks make me furious. VP Cheney also GAVE AWAY 8 MILLION dollars to charity, just to avoid any "talk." These Democrats made me ill. Investigate CLINTON, both of them, and every durned Democrat in public office. THERE the media should find multiple culprits. I am so angry I could spit. Have been for days over this mass slaughter of Republicans.

Dick Cheney, the Republican vice presidential candidate, said Friday that if elected, he will forfeit stock options worth about $3.5-million in the energy services company that he left to run for office.

Cheney had been challenged by the Gore campaign for inviting a conflict of interest if he owned the options while in office.

He was precluded from selling the options, which he was awarded for his service as chief executive of the Halliburton Co., until 2001 at the earliest, and their value by then would be affected by the company's profits, which are sensitive to the price of oil.

Source

The Cheneys reported more than $1.9 million in short-term capital losses, which the White House said were mostly "incurred because the vice president sold stocks that he and Mrs. Cheney owned in order to avoid conflicts of interest." However, about $1.1 million of these losses are not deductible in 2000.

In addition, the Cheneys reported $823,509 in long-term capital gains. The Cheneys donated $41,646 to charity, plus stock options valued at approximately $7.8 million to three charities: Capital Partners for Education in Washington (which the White House says provides assistance to underprivileged high-school students); George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates; and the University of Wyoming.

More on the 7.8 mil donation:

The Cheneys will not receive a tax deduction for this gift, and their lawyer, Terrence O'Donnell, said they have instructed their tax advisers to "calculate to the penny" on the taxes due so that they do not receive any financial benefit from the options.

The one thing that Rush has been 100% right on that none can disagre with him on is the spinless republican party.

Why does a radio host have to defend the president and the republican party? That should be the job of the RNC but they have been mostly slient and when they have spoken up did a really bad job of doing it.

It's time to come out slugging. PhilDragoo in Post 43 has got the mantra down!

The press really is freezing out the Republicans. Anyone who knows Tom Delay as a tough, honorable Rep., Christian and patriot should believe him:

Tom Delay was on the radio down here in Houston last Friday. He said that the Republicans are blue in their collective faces trying to get stories like this out to the public. The Washington press corp refuses to publish one wit about such things like this story exposing Terry McAuliffe.

It's the press, the lying, stinking, dirty, no good, blinkity-blank press. (Lucianne poster, July '02)

www.overlawyered.com, keyword: "Halliburton". The Trial Lawyers, big Dem. $$$ donors are ruining corporations with often fraudulent lawsuits, resulting in tens of thousands of unemployed Americans, lost pensions and stockholders' savings. Where's the press?

December 10 (2001) -- "Halliburton Shares Plunge on Verdict". The market clipped $3.8 billion off the giant oil field service company's share valuation after Peter Angelos(Big Dem. Donor) got a $30 million jury award against it. The ruling is the fourth significant asbestos ruling against Halliburton since late October, according to Merrill Lynch ... Over the last 25 years, Halliburton has settled 194,000 asbestos claims, the company said. The average payment was about $200, according to Allen Brooks, executive director at CIBC World Markets. As of Sept. 30, the company faced 146,000 open asbestos claims and 182,000 more from a former subsidiary called Harbison-Walker." (David Koenig, AP/Yahoo, Dec. 7; Neela Banerjee, "Halliburton Battered as Asbestos Verdict Stirs Deep Anxieties", New York Times, Dec. 8). Federal-Mogul, the big auto parts maker, became the latest large bankruptcy to result from asbestos litigation with a filing two months ago (Joe Miller, "Asbestos suits hurt Fed-Mogul", Detroit News, Oct. 2).

"In late October, a Mississippi jury ordered three firms, including oil-services giant Halliburton and manufacturer 3M, to pay six plaintiffs $25 million apiece...What made jaws drop was that the plaintiffs weren't even sick their X-rays just showed they stood an increased chance of getting sick. 'Most of these guys have not missed a day of work in their lives,' their lawyer said. ... To unearth new clients for lawyers, screening firms advertise in towns with many aging industrial workers or park X-ray vans near union halls. To get a free X-ray, workers must often sign forms giving law firms 40 percent of any recovery. One solicitation reads: 'Find out if YOU have MILLION DOLLAR LUNGS!'" ("Looking for some million-dollar lungs", U.S. News, Dec. 17).

The company's management cites the party switch of Vermont Sen. James Jeffords as a reason for throwing in the towel, since a Senate organized by Democrats is unlikely to give the nod to any legislative fix for the litigation morass. ("USG Says It May Seek Bankruptcy Protection After Jeffords Decision", Wall Street Journal, June 5). http://overlawyered.com/archives/01/june3.html, June, '01.

You only have to go back a couple of weeks more to find Halliburton, the oil-field specialist that formerly boasted Dick Cheney as CEO, taking a big markdown on its shares after a jury awarded $150 million to four plaintiffs in an asbestos lawsuit. Halliburton has 250,000 more claimants waiting in the wings. Halliburton chief Dave Lesar says more than half the Dow 30 industrial companies have asbestos exposure, though some are reluctant to disclose it. Dow Chemical was hit with 900 lawsuits in December alone. If something isn't done soon, Reuters quoted a fund manager saying recently, "half the industrial companies in America could face bankruptcy."http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=95001763, Jan. '02.

February 14 (2000) -- Bill Clinton among friendly crowd.  The President hit Texas last week for a fund-raising tour of which the highlight was a $25,000-a-couple dinner hosted by trial lawyer husband-and-wife Fred Baron and Lisa Blue at their "palatial" (eleven bathrooms, six wet bars) Dallas home. The event raised an estimated $500,000 for the Democratic National Committee. The Reuters report describes Baron only as a "Democratic activist" but not as a trial lawyer, and none of the papers appear to pick up on his rather salient role as president-elect of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Needless to say, none of the reporters are so rude as to mention the controversies over the coaching of testimony in Baron's asbestos claims practice, either. Maybe host and guest-of-honor shared tips about their respective successes with creative witness preparation. http://overlawyered.com/archives/00feb1.html

Thanks so much for posting.

We just need to keep hitting this day after day until some members of the press finally decide that there are two sides and their spouting the DNC talking point papers is not going to work!

Believe this is going to take a grassroots level work to spread the word. Thanks to the Internet we can do just that!

Amen...and some Freeping outside the studios and in the streets maybe? Remember how surprised Jesse J. was when Republicans stood up to him in front of the USSC and called him on his lies? Think we can get Americans in every city motivated to picket their local papers? We need some slogans for the press....CAN'T TELL WHO'S THE BAD GUY? GET THE HECK OUT OF THE PRESS ROOM! (^:

Here in OK, The Daily Oklahoman has one of the most, if not the most, conservative editorial page in the Country for which I am grateful.
