Democrats are the anti-opportunity party.

I love the way Sowell evicerated the "poorest quintile" myth by showing that the lowest quintile of current income is loaded with young people just starting out, on the fast track towards the middle and even the top quintile of income.

Socialism is the greatest tool ever devised to protect the rich from competition with the middle class.

Socialism protects the rich, cripples the middle class and enslaves the poor.

The Dems need to hear this every day. The Repubs need to keep it in mind as well.

I wonder what the comparative IQ numbers are between Mr. Sowell and the Rev. Jackson. I also wonder what the comparative real yearly income is. In a true and just world, Rev. Jackson would know if Mr. Sowell liked fries with his Big Mac.

Sweatshops in Thailand pay between 4000 and 6000 bht a month

construction laborers get 150 bht a day or 4500 bht in 30 days without time off (as is common)

A new college grad averages 6500 bht a month.

We are asked to boycott clothing manufactured by sweatshop labor there.

Is this so the sweatshop worker gets the privilage of starving so the artsey caftsy liberal can feel good about themselves or for the ends of organized labor?

Deep trustafarian thinking:

"Whatever. Capitalist pigs. We're just protesting and stuff."
