Yes, the Palestinians were wrong to toss rocks, but one wonders what would have happened had the settlers been locked in their homes so that a PA officer's funeral procession could pass.

Just a thought, seeing how all the Arab squatters are living in the Hebron Hills. How about every illegal immigrant Arab that does not have a valid visa or a valid deed to the land they have built houses on gets deported? Is this agreeable to you? You do realize that the majority of them would have to move. Polls show that more than 80% of Arabs currently in Israel came here this generation.
You understand that a way that people are *killer* is by *stoning* them, right? Stoning is not throwing pebbles. It's throwing stones that crack bones and crush skulls. It's not a petty thing. Goliath was felled with a stone. The first Christian martyr was stoned to death. Etc....

Your "one size fits all Peace Plan" always involves the ethnic cleansing of Jews from whatever neighborhood they have been the victims of terror attacks.
Excuse me, but the settlers have been locked in their homes for two years. They are shot at if they leave their compound and stoned and shot at if they even have a funeral. Perhaps the Arabs should leave seeing how they are the ones causing all the violence.According to the Jerusalem Post, the Israeli government is blaming the settlers for what happened.
It sounds like the Israeli government is re-focusing their efforts. They're backing off on Palestinians in general and going after Hamas hard. Now they're proving that they are at least willing to criticize the zealots. The next few weeks should be interesting, providing the GOI sticks to this path the next time Hamas or Hezbollah tries to divert the peace process with an attack.

I hear that. Sounds to me like the rock tossers got off easy. To bad about the girl that was killed though. Hard to say if she was a rock tosser, but its always sad when someone is killed.
Wish people would stop and think about the consequences before they do stupid things like throwing rocks at funeral processions.
Why should Jews have to move from their homes? They have not moved the Arabs and the Arabs are killers. Why should innocent Jews have to move from the Hebron hills? After all, the Jews have lived there for thousands of years and the Arabs all showed up 600 years ago in an invasion. Perhaps Israel should invade and claim the land so they could have the same rights as the Arabs? The settlers in Hebron are basically squatters. The Arabs have lived there for at least 1,400 years (and took the land from Christians, who got it more or less by default from the Romans).
Once there's a Palestinian state, I would expect Israel to demand that Jews have the same rights there that Arabs have in Israel. But the conditions right now make peace impossible. The settlers, a bunch as disruptive as any Palestinian mob not packing explosives, actually have more privileges than the Arabs. Would they be locked in their houses in order to protect an Arab march?
By the way, Ha'aretz is even more critical of the settler mob than the J-Post was.

Oh yeah. Concessions to terrorists is always a good suggestion.Targetting the actual terrorists while slacking off on the people who share their purported cause isn't a bad idea though. Neither is recognizing there's agitators with no interest in peace on both sides.

Oh yeah. Making concessions to the supporters of terrorism is always a good idea. They will start to love you when you do.
They should learn to live together. We did it over here...why can't they?
"They" should learn to stop bombing buses and restaurants
