God, I forgot about the Monza. I saw the name and just started to laugh.

The first Chevy Monza (the 2+2) introduced rectangular headlights to North America. I thought it was the coolest looking car in the world.

I also had a Monza and that was the last GM product I have ever purchased, and I will never purchase a GM product again. (Wasn't the Monza built on the Vega platform?) The fuel economy was something like 4 quarts of oil per tank full of gas.

I had a Monza as a HS kid back in the late 70s. It had a small block V8 from the factory and was a good car for me. The small block V8 was a bit cramped, but the car was quick and handled pretty good. Just right for a HS kid on a budget.
