Judge Morre should have been with me today. I'm not judging, mind you, just recounting an observation. I was picking up a few thing at the Ft. Belvoir Commissary this morning when something just struck me as odd. Two females. One, an army major in uniform, and the other in civilian clothes. My mind quickly discounted the possibility of sisters, two people from the same office, or just ordinary room mates. I thought at the time, if that's not a domestic partner thing going on, I'll eat my hat. As Seinfeld would say, "Not that there is anything wrong with that."

It should go without saying that, of course, I could have been wrong.

I would not be in favor of the Government "seeking out" homosexuals however if a case is brought before the Goverment the Government should strongly condemn such immoral behavior, and rule in best interest of any children involved as Judge Morre did....

There could be any number of other explanations. I know of two young ladies (one is my 29 year-old daughter) who took a road trip together because they were best FRIENDS (nothing more). At least one person assumed otherwise and was very unfriendly to them. I think the quote was something like "God hates queers".

You can never assume things like that.

I have four sisters. My hubby has four sisters. All but five of my sixteen cousins are women. I even have some real live women friends. Any number of our clients are women. I even walk through the courthouse with them. Remind me never to walk with any of them if you're around. We could be accused of being "domestic partners," lesbians, queers or worse.
