Just because he happens to tell police where her body is he gets a reduced sentence. This is absurd. What possible redeeming value does the "confession" possess to warrant a reduction in charges.

She had an apartment in Levittown, Bucks Co. -- I've also heard Middleton (maybe where her family lived ??) She met Passmore in 1999 at Kutztown University...they dated for a while but he beat and choked her last year and was given probabtion and oredered to "stay away from her". She had a new boyfriend and it sounds like this guy was the type who said --"if you leave me I'll kill you"

It seems that alot of parents are not teaching their daughters the facts of life.- That being- there are dangerous people in the world, and to minimize the risks, there are certain things you should and shouldn't do. People, PLEASE tell your daughters the grim facts of life and if you can, get 'em a gun and train them how to use it. I'd rather have a daughter in jail for shooting an attacker, than one discarded, dead on a rural road somewhere...

As the body deteriorates, the evidence vanishes, and the possibility of a CONVICTION decreases with time. In this case, sadly, I agree with the DA's office. Justice will be done in prison no doubt. Prisoners often offer up their own version of justice (remember Jeffrey Dahmer).

A few years ago, I had a friend go through a mid-life crisis. The short of it was that she got a divorce and ran off with a virtual stranger she met on a cruise ship. She moved to Greece, and within a month was murdered by him. One of my Greek friends told me that Greece does not have a death penalty, but assured me that justice would be done in prison, where crimes against women and children, are viewed with particular distain. The perp was dead, within a year.

Speaking of our Scottish Law practitioner, Senator Specter, what's the status of his buddy Ira Einhorn? In what PA state prison is he presently being held? Wasn't he put in Graterford when he returned from his European vacation?

And speaking of Mumia in another thread, this year marks the 20th anniversary of his sentence to be put to death in the PA electric chair. 20 years and still waiting.

Levittown. The authorities believe now that he had been watching her from outside her home and when she left to meet her new boyfriend, he kidnapped her. How very sad.

Seriously!?! If u knew her u wouldn’t say that! She dated him in college n realized he was scum n abusive! She moved on with her life and had a new boyfriend, that scum bag wouldn’t leave her alone and stalked her until she was home alone, kidnapped her and took her beautiful life and let her body rot in the summer heat. So yeah, if she could talk today, I’m sure, (along with her family n friends) she would appreciate that person apologizing for the pictures posted together.
