The election about did me in-- on November 8th, I got rushed to the hospital for a quintuple bypass on a 'right-the-****-now' basis. I remember waking up in the ICU and the TV election coverage being the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes. I bellowed something like "Is this STILL going on?" and a nurse hurried over with a blast of morphine, administered HARD into my IV. Must've been a Democrat or something- can't have cranky FReepers awake and complaining!
