Things seem to be going from bad to worse these days for Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend. "The thing that has worried people is: Can she do the job? And she hasn't projected that she can," says one of Townsend's own Democratic ticket-mates, Maryland comptroller and former Gov. William Donald Schaefer.

There was a great article posted earlier on the FR about Kathleen Kennedy Townsend about what an AIRHEAD she is. She can't make a move without consulting her ever present handlers. She doesn't even have the ability to answer the simplest of questions. No surprise here that the agency she headed is a shambles. In normal life KKT would just be some roller blading Yuppie. However, because of that Kennedy name she has been forced (I don't think she even wants to hold public office) to get into situations way OVER her head.

A Kennedy as "Crime Czar"!?!
How the state of my birth has fallen (and it was pretty low when I left).

Hey, you were born in Maryland? Me too. Salisbury. (Although when people ask what state I was born in I always answer "Delmarva.")

Easton 6PB (post bridge). Most of family still there.

Speaking of Delmarva, how's this for a wonderful plan for the Eastern Shore: DE, MD eastern shore and the eastern shore of VA are all quite conservative. Therefore, they should seceed from MD and form the state of Delmarva, avoiding all the voter fraud and machine politics of PG and Montgomery counties which combine with Balto City to give us abortions like Spendenning.
Whatcha think?

Don't ever bet against a Kennedy in an election.

The walking dead. Kennedy fans.

Don't ever bet against a Kennedy in an election. Why not? KKT already lost a congressional race.

She also has a problem AFTER picking a Republican as her running mate who had to change parties while her opponent has picked a black man to be his. She claims he is trying to cover up his history on civil rights and that the NAACP has given him a failing grade because he is opposed to affirmative action. If she is so for it why did she NOT pick a black running mate? Additionally, she is opposed to gun rights and after 9/11 that is not a good thing to be against.

Delaware is conservative? Are you sure about that? Why do they have Biden?
Your fellow Delmarvan,

Great Idea, but you would need to only take the "below the canal" part of Delaware to make it work. Otherwise, the Wilmington metro area would rule the whole area. Wilmington and its surroundings could be annexed into PA.
By the way, for the those who never lived in Delaware, "below the canal" refers to the part of Delaware below the Chesapeake and Delaware canal.
