the misinterpretation of this part of bible by such spiritual leaders (and good men, i might add) as jerry falwell have caused the united states to pour lots of foreign aid to the state of israel, simply to allow [misinterpreted] bible prophecy to happen -- like god really needs our help!

i am all for supporting our good allies, the israelites, but lets do it for temporal reasons, not for [misguided] spiritual ones.

I do not know whether to laugh or to cry at the honesty of your prejudice and ignorance. "Mentioned in the Bible?" Israelites gave you the Bible. Even what you call New Testatement is a life story of a Jew named Joshua written by other Jews.
