Poorer areas are dirty, louder, more trash? Have more stray cats? Have more people who kill/capture birds?

How long will it be before I see a CNN peice on lack of quality bird watching in poorer neighborhoods?

I have always noticed that bird-watching is far more pleasurable in high class neighborhoods.
